My AdSense revenue stinks..$15/day with 50k impressions/day

...Seems I should be making what, 2, 3, 4, 5x what I do now?

All of the impressions are from 3 sites total, with the main ones being
YFZCentral.com/invision
- and -
Z400Central.com/invision

What do you guys think I can improve? I wan't to double my adsense! Heck, what do you guys think I can really make it out to?

Tips and hints please!

I would recommend putting your adsense in a more prominent place

maybe just under the banner.

I did and I get 100 ish imps around 6 or 7 clicks daily approx 7.00 USD

Unlike you I need traffic lol

 

just FYI but you haven't blocked out enough in your screenshot. With the impressions, clicks, and earnings, anyone can compute the CTR and CPM.

 

You can try adding google ads within posts, like on this page ... preferably after the first post (like its done on DP)

The 2 link units at the very bottom of the page are doing you no good. I think you should try and move them around. A good idea will be to bring it in the header.

 

Yes you should be making x10 that ammount. On some of my good days when I get 5k impressions I get $10+. So you get 50K avg. with $10-20. Something is wrong there, here's my stats from last month if you want you can compare them. Even tho you are doing way better than I am, you should be blowing me out of the water.

Mine is less than 250 page impressions daily but daily earnings averaging USD10.00.
It is all about topics, proper placements and colors of the various links.

Possibly because I was getting highly-targetted visitors.

I think it depends a lot on the type of visitors. Tech orientated visitors are for instance less likely to click on ads.

But you are right, seems low. I would suggest moving the adsense ads from the bottom to the top. This alone should increase the earnings.

 

Forum visitors are less likely to click on ads, tech people don't click on ads also. I think that's why your earning is low despite having a lot of traffic.

 

Thanks for the tips guys! I'll move the ones on the bottom around and try and put some ads within the posts.

The flashing ads at the top/bottom are my paying advertisers. Adsense is just a backup to what really brings in the money.

 

your ad placement is very bad. All you have is a link unit and then you have ALL THE WAY DOWN A LOT to get to the next unit all the way at the bottom. Just but ad units, not link units above the fold and your CTR will wocket up. Try to better intergrate ads within the forum posts. what did you expect. you got 4 units on most pages so if 1 out of 100 people click. thats 1 click of 400 impressions. . . .25 % ctr
