    Hi All,

I'd thought that I'd been following all the advice from previous threads but after searching through DP it appears that my CTR is pretty rubbish.

I'd be very grateful if some people could advise me on what I can do to improve it: www.AddAnImage.com

    Many thanks,

    p.

The 468x80 ad in the top right corner stands out, but not to people looking for pictures. It just kind of says "I'm an ad, don't bother looking over here." I'd probably get rid of it, or make a big round white tab in the header behind the ad, so they look integrated with the site. Similar to the round tab on top left.

You might want to try putting the 728x90 block between a row of pictures and using black text so the links match your other links. Maybe do alternating background colors on the rows of pics and have one row just be ads.

Maybe put a 120x60 ad in the left navigation, above the "Random Pictures" button.

The layout is not the best for CTR... I would suggest you remove the 468 ad aw well and place something in the left side bar.

Remove 468 banner (Useless), get 160x600 banner in sidebar(Somewhere in middle), and move the bottom horizontal ad unit somewhere up on right column, not at extreme top of page.
Change the URL color from blue to black , but keep the title blue. (0000FF)

U will get atleast 2-3% CTR withi this change.

    Good stuff guys, thanks!

I've already made the top banner a little more blended but I really like the idea of putting it over a white tab that's the same as the other side.

URL's to black? OK! it's got to be worth a try...

Excellent, I'm off to try these ideas - thanks again :)

The ad on the uper right hand corner is not visible.. you need to place ads near the content area, try putting a unit before all of the content.
