    Hi
    I have an unusual request - I need a poem/rhyme!

    The poem must be a parody of FAVORITE THINGS from the Sound Of Music but the subject matter is QUILTING.

    The original song goes like this:

    Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
    Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
    Brown paper packages tied up with strings
    These are a few of my favorite things

    An example parody based on Old People:

    Cadillacs and cataracts and hearing aids and glasses,
    Polident and Fixodent and false teeth in glasses,
    Pacemakers, golf carts and porches with swings,
    These are a few of my favorite things.

    Another Example based on the TV show Supernatural:

    Plaid wearing brothers and trench coated angels,
    Salt-rounds and hell hounds and short shotgun barrels.
    Heavenly war and the 4 horseman's rings,
    These are a few of my favorite things.

    So I need one based on QUILTING.

    You will only need to come up with 20 to 30 words or so because the last line will be 'THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS'
