Create a anti terrorist website.. sell anti osama bin laden posters .. give 50 % to charity.. and the rest 50 % will be worth zillions ofcourse.

I dont know if you can make 1 million dollars in a year, that's need a lot of hard work... so do not put a fixed number, just try to do your best to make money!

I'd suggest coming up with a great concept for the web what no one has thought of before like the Million Dollar Homepage etc.,

Keep it simple, perhaps do some research on SEO and which is the best affiliate scheme for your idea (Adsense isn't always the best in terms of revenue).

Maybe look at advertising, perhaps in the same places as your competitors to begin with (you can find out this by typing in your competitors url in www.linkpopularity.com, then submitting your site to the same places).
