120 Visits from StumbleUpon - Am confused

Hello Friends,

Usually everyday i got around 15-20 visits from StumbleUpon but today it has been 120 till now and i have got 55,35,24 visits for three of the posts that I have submitted more than a month back.

I am really confused about this sudden spike. Can somebody enlighten me the reasons for this sudden spike. It will surely help me in getting more visitors from StumbleUpon in future. Please suggest me the reasons for this.

 

maybe your post is more interesting this time and got many stumbles

I am not very much aware of a way to find out who has stumbled my post because this is the only reason I can think of for this sudden spike. Eve today some of my posts have already get me 100 stumble visitors in half day (am from India )
I wanted to know who has stumbled my post.

 

There is only reason about your site content and its topic, nothing at all.

 

I think it has to do with the amount of people who have liked your page on SU. The more times you have been "thumbed up" the more chances your site will be shown again.

 

Once I also got some traffic like 150 just in 3 hours from them. That too just for the one bookmark i had there.

WOW.. I am making a killing guys... 400 stumble visitors for a single topic till now for today.. same topic got 150 visitors from stumble yesterday..

 

maybe because you have some posting
and make some people feel interest with your website
hope it can be happend for tomorrow

 

Stumble is weird, somtimes I get nothing and sometimes 20 clicks a day.

 

Yeah and once I got 7000 visitors a day for one article being stumbled

 

It happens sometimes because if your post is good so people share it to their friends too.

 

Stumble upon is weird that way. The visitors must have discoverd your article and it is stumbled many times now.

 

Yes one of my page has got 1000+ visits from Stumble in last 3 days... it means obviously people have stumbled it.. but I don't know any method to know who has stumbled my posts..

 

This is true, social networking sites (especially StumbleUpon) are incredibly hard to predict the amount of traffic. This is because all of the traffic is based on users and their likes, so you can't really predict if 20 people will see your site today or if 2,000 will.

 

Yeah thats weird.. today it came down to 100 only but anyways something is better than nothing

 

One of my post has got 12K visitors till now. Submitted just 20 days back. Others posts are getting around 50+ viewers. StumbleUpon you rock..

 

wow.. 12K visits is really awesome.... one of my page has crossed 2500... and daily getting atleast 50-60 hits.. lets see where it goes..

 

It means they like your new content. Nothing to worry in this.
