    Dear members on DP,

First of all I would like to say that you all where very helpfull, I started with nothing and am now beginning to understand how Adsense works. I learned alot from this forum but some things are just how do I say it :D "weird"?

I have a Anime website, with above 10k unique visitors a day, it is a download portal and I use 3 Adsense ads, which are integrated with the colours of the website & are placed on the right place on the layout.

As you can see on the stats:
    http://www.dbznfo.com/animeu-dot-com.JPG

I am not earning well as others that have adsense with this Impressions. How come my earnings per day are very low while my impressions per day are very high?

I hope for positive & helpfull comments.

    Regards,
    Hicham

Yeah, cover up those stats (other than maybe the earnings). Could you give us a screenshot of your AdSense placement or something like that?

Congratulation on getting so many impressions and clicks. Maybe the ads people are clicking on aren't high paying. Hmm, I'm not sure.

Do Google show the highest paying ads they can, or can you use the competitive ad filter to show higher paying ads?

Two simple reasons you are earning so little: an awful ctr and an awful eCPM.

For the ctr, I would guess that you are not blending your ads well. Try changing ad formats and location. Maybe your overall design needs changing, I don't know.

For your eCPM, maybe its temporary? Maybe setting up a competitive filter using an adblock list (search the forum) will be helpful.

It may also be that the Anime topic you've chosen for your site is just not giving you good paying keywords.

You can also try putting cpm ads instead of cpc. These are ads that pay you an amount for every 1,000 impressions, no matter whether they click on the ad or not.

    Good luck.

Thanks for your reply :), but do you think I am able to get 75$ a day if I get a new layout + good spot and add alot of content instead of just downloads?

oh does anybody have more suggestions?

    Hicham,

What is your major source of traffic?

    * PPC?
    * Organic? If so - is it coming from directory linking? Did you do link exchanges? Buy links?
    * Buying traffic? Are you buying it from a reputable source?

Understanding where the traffic is coming from can help analyze why the CTR is so low. PM me and I'll be happy to help.

Interesting. Can you give out the names of some CPM services?

BTW are such CPM ads usable along with Adsense?

    Hey thanks for helping me!

What is your major source of traffic?

    * PPC?
No, I do not use Pay Per Click.

    * Organic? If so - is it coming from directory linking? Did you do link exchanges? Buy links?
Only Link exchanges with 15 websites which bring like 300 unique visitors a day. (2% of the websites traffic)

    * Buying traffic? Are you buying it from a reputable source?
    Nope.

7 Months ago I had a brand new idea, that idea was not familiar in the anime community so I got alot of hits. I have like 50.000+ members, most of the traffic comes from people that come see the website daily or a few days a month and have bookmarked the website.

I also get some hits from Search Engines but that is very low. Many people that like AnimeUpload place links on their own site/blog or other big forums.

I think they are usable, yes. I would double check, though.

Value Click is an example of a company that does this. I believe CPX Interactive is another one. Google adsense also has some cpm ads.

    Some info here.
