So my wife bought me a new monitor and it's wide screen... now I think I'm not use to it yet. For those of you that have the wide screen (16:9) montiors how long did it take you to get use to them?

Hmmm... I don't recall not liking it right off the bat, but it's been so long since I've used 16:9 monitors, maybe I just don't remember (about 5 years).

It still looks funny to me.... watching TV on a wide screen is no big deal to me but somehow the monitor in my office looks funny. I'm sure like anything I will get use to it.... I just hope it's soon. ;)

The good news is porn looks so much better. lol

websites look weird in widescreen - always way too much white space. I love watching football on widescreen though [:)]

From what I understand you need a different video card for each monitor, if you want them to run independently. I'm not sure though .I'd love one at the office though.

I have seen a bigger one I think, I saw them once on display at a circuit ciyt or something, maybe they didn't sell. It was pretty cool though, you coiuld swing the mouse across all screens, and have ton of windows going
