2 Minutes Silence

Is it only UK that have just held a 2 minute silence for the people who died in London?

 

No. The whole of Europe was supposed to be doing so, apparently.

 

I didn't even hear about it until now.

Same here Online radio got shut down for two minutes here. It was all over the news yesterday and this morning. Guess two minutes of silence is the least we can do to fight such horrors of crime.

 

That won't be enough for those helpless victims. These terrorist attacks should have an end now and all these terrorists will be put to justice.

Why do I get the feeling you say things just to say them? Maybe it's just me but I never really get the impression you are actually interested in the topics you comment on.

All of the "Klik Revenue" gang have been doing this. Believe it or not this was one of his more sensitive posts. Most of them on this subject are so random, they are downright insensitive.

its about a show of solidarity, and to pay respects to those who died a week ago, im glad to say where I was it was observed apart from a few ignorant cars owners still driving about, amazing once the 2 mins was up how the traffic turned back on again like a lightswitch.

 

This type of respect is what civilization is about. No, it doesn't fight terrorists but its not meant to. Its meant to respect those who lost their lives.

 

Exactly so going on about terrorists isn't exactly the most sensitive thing to say. Have some respect for the families of the victims and think before you post on a topic like this Jimdigi. Think about if it was your Mum or Dad or brother or sister...

In Holland we had a 2 minute silence, I forgot about it ...but I was alone in the house so obviously unknowingly did the 2 min silence.
