2 Months and no ranking, no Traffic Whats wrong

I have been doing a few web sites for adsense. I have submitted the sites to google and all other search engines, and the pages just dont seem to be getting ranked. Would be gratful for
1. Take a look at the sites and see if design is OK.
2. How long does it take to get ranked in google?
3. Any tips on getting traffic would be GREATLY appreciated.

On the vegas site I have a few but it takes time to get them up, people don't seem to react very fast to link request. any good link exchange programs?

If you can afford it I would submit to some paid directorites to begin with such as BOTW.org / JoeAnt.com / Site-Sift.com and then work on building your more 'natural' links via exchanges and requests.

Since your topic is weight loss on one of your sites, you could write articles on the subject and submit them to ezinearticles.com and because weight loss is a popular topic, if they are good articles (and even if they're not in many cases) a lot of sites will pick them up, use them and link back to you. You may see a trickle of traffic this way, too.

Remember you have the Sandbox to deal when it comes to Google. You probably won't rank for anything you are targetting from 3 months anywhere up to a year or more - no-one can really say but you have a long wait ahead of you which you must stick out and keep building your site, even if it's not earning much at all or receiving many visitors. Most people fail on this hurdle as they either can't be bothered keeping a site update that doesn't seem to be earning them anything, or spending money on a site that isn't currently earning them much.

Stick it out.. build a GREAT comprehensive site on weight loss and get some good back links from whereever you can.

Eventually it will pay off, but certainly not after 2 months. I doubt you will see much income until 8-12 months. Even then if you aren't ranking or receiving much from Google KEEP AT IT. You WILL eventually.

Once you are earning a little from your site you can re-invest it in to ideas to develop original weight loss tools or software that will help promote and market your site by themselves with very little promotion, relying less on rankings.

Last but not least..make sure all of the content on your site is UNIQUE. Do not use any articles from article banks or from other sites. Write or pay for your own.

- Visiting the homepage of vegas site, I dont see any ads..
- You need to work on the color combination to make it more appealing to the visitor. Also consider different font.
- Chances of visitors going past the homepage will be less if he homepage is unappealing.
- Work on exchanging links with similar sites

- In the weightloss site, try wrapping the text around the rectangular ad in the body of the page.
- The aesthetics of weightloss site is better than vegas site..

Well your lasvegas site is indexed.. thats a start.. it isn't a quick process but somehow i can see results within a month alot of the time.. submit to free directories and use multiple descriptions/anchors

 

I also think more pages on your site will increase visitors, some search engines like msn displays there search results with the title as being more of a priority than meta tags.
