Given that every single one of those oversold and under-provided, making them nothing more than giant scams -- like most coloCrossing resellers -- this shouldn't come as s surprise to anyone.

I got suckered into UMax's "black friday" deal around this time last year... and found out the hard way they were just another fly by night dirtbags where their screwing people over has to end up costing money in chargebacks, given that when I reported it to Paypal they instantly refunded without even the normal waiting period because "We know about them".

Good to hear they're finally getting around to cleaning out the sleaze.
