Yeah, I got a couple thousand unique visitors from digg, sold a good amount of only a certain product. The rest didn't do so well. So yeah, it depends if you have the right product.

Although pretty new to this whole thing, I have not had to much luck with Digg. Anybody have a quick tutorial or something I could take a look at?

Yup, the text links are definitely worth it. Traffic isn't all that important.

Creating articles suited for the digg audience 3-8 times a month (per site) and pushing them to the digg audience - usually at least one sticks - sometime 2 or 3.

I've always wanted to get to the frontpage of Digg. About 25% of the websites that do end up going down though, not sure if mine would cope.

I love the digg effect I've hit the home page twice so far and wil be doing it again many times. Its not to hard to master once u get the hang of it. It really is a cool chain effect to watch. You get this large influx of traffic then u start showing up on other sites like popurls.com and u usually get a ton of back links and comments etc.

Stumble upon traffic is a life saver as well.

My experience with the digg frontpage is this. Its not hard to get there. Its hard to stay there. Most times you will get to the front page and be immediately buried. I've been utilizing digg for traffic to my first website that I started about a month ago. And the front page does deliver server crushing traffic. But its not quality traffic. But for me Its easy to get things on the frontpage. I've been on digg for 9 days and have had 7 articles hit the front page. Its not that hard. And the links and other benefits are phenomenal.

Digg it or Stumbleupon? I know STumbleupon can be expensive if you are going to get the clicks i.e. 250,000 like you have had! has this cost much?

Of course its worth it. Even if its only 1 visitor, it's worth it. Never hurts to get new visits! Unless your server is gimpy xD.
