Hi, I'm new and pulling my hair out trying to put some sites together that will make a decent money. I have started to build a network of sites, primarily all golf related. That it would be best to start with something that I know so I can develop content.

    The first is: http://www.GolfOutingExpress.com
This is my main site. It provides tools to golf tournament planners. It's been up for a year, gets about 20-30 visitors a day. How can I increase the traffic?

    Second: http://lasvegas.mygolfcoursereview.com
Just started it last week. Gets no visitors because it is so new.

    Third: http://freegolfgames.dfwgolfsource.com
Review and links to free online golf games. Gets no visitors yet, just launched it.

I've read many threads on this board and am confused about what I should be expecting. Some people make a $1 per day, some make $100. I'd like to be in the $50 a day range in the next 2 months. Is that possible with what I have started out?

I think my biggest problem is a lack of traffic, I get no where near what others have posted. How do you get that much traffic?

I checked out http://lasvegas.mygolfcoursereview.com, and I would suggest moving your vertical skyscraper to the left side of the page (this has GREATLY helped my CTR). As far as traffic, try to find golf related forums or message boards where you could post a link to your site. Also, contact owners of related websites and see if they would be willing to do a link exchange.

Where are your visitors coming from? How are you doing in the SERPS with the primary site and for what range of keywords.

You have a pop-up on your first page which I think many people find very annoying and I don't think Google likes that much either (though don't ask me to prove that).

Your AS blending is very nice. Perhaps you can increase CTR using Critters Law :) - but overall, I'd say you have to concentrate on building links, writing and submitting articles and getting your traffic up before you'll see anything like $50 a day.

Visitors come from Yahoo and MSN, very little google traffic. Keywords are golf outing planner, golf outing software and golf tournament planning. Usually I'm in the top 10 if not 20 for each engine except Google.

I took the pop-up down, that was an experiment that bombed.

I'll have to try the Critters Law example that you pointed out. I like how your site does it; with the image and a link below then the AS block.
