4images Error while uploading foto's

    i have installed 4images on my linux webserver
    all seems fine , install goes normally , database is populated
    but if i want to upload a foto to a category then the following error occurs

    Quote:
    Image 1
    Error uploading image file: picture.jpg
    picture.jpg: Copy error. Please check the directory permissions.

    No database entry!

    now to be sure i have Chmodded all the dirs and files to 777
    but the error stil stays

    somebody has the same error or can help me out fixin this ??
    saw some post when i googled that its a bug in 4images
    but cant get a answer to fix it !

    hope you can help me out guys !!

    first of all try to upgrade ur gallery to the latest version and seconldy usually files are stored in media/data/ so make sure u have also CHMOD the data directory, I m also using it its working fine...well u can also upload fotos via ftp just note the category ID if its 2 go to media/data/2 and upload it there...after tht go to ur admin panel of gallery and "Check new images"

    i found the problem !
    Plesk was overwritting my PHP safe mode settings
    all working fine now !
