I like your post. Most happened to me, I think the focus is very important - so easy to get distracted and carried away with a new idea!

^ The point with spending on Education is very important. As most of the people are new in the world of Online Marketing they consider it easy because false products make them believe them so with all the hype their marketing materials create. There is a need to get a scam free training service. One which has been time tested by hundreds and who give their verdict on that. One such exist, check my sig!

It's a nice, informative post but this one line screwed it for me:

 

The only thing I would add is to actually have a business plan. Have a step-by-step plan of where you want to end up and how you are going to get there. Where do you want to be in 12 months, 6 months, 90 days, 1 month, 1 week, 1 day, TODAY! Put it in writing, but most of all, TAKE ACTION ! Just do it.....

 

Exactly, one thing is that this post motivated me to work on my websites again though.

It really depends on what business model you are interested in. Think hard about what avenue you want to pursue in the long term. You may enjoy writing lots, you may enjoy a more artistic approach, you may enjoy stats and math, you may be turned on by psychology and driving sales and desired action, you may have a product you want to sell. There are countless opportunities and so the courses that will help you really depends on what sort of business you wish to build.

But 1. is not everytime wrong. Somebody has skills to master many at once...
