    Ignore it at your peril. You can justify why you need to not focus on one thing, but ultimately everyone I know that focuses on one thing and specializes does A LOT better than those that don't.

    Yeah, I definitely agree with 4. If you are going to do a website about something that you really don't care than be prepared for failure or at least it won't be interesting enough for you to survive the first stages when you aren't really earning anything.

    Yet so many people just hunt out what they think is the biggest earner. There's always lots of threads looking for high paying affiliate programs, or high cost per click words. There's money to be made in practically any niche, and if you follow your passion making money that way will be a lot easier and more fun.
