635 page impressions, 0 clicks, $0 revenue, I need some advice!

635 page impressions in one day, 0 clicks, $0 revenue, I need some advice!
It's a forum, is this normal?

 

What are you doing to advertise your site? 635 impressions is a small number, unless your site is brand new.

I use several of the resources here at DP fo site promotion. I've found for example that a small investment to get submittted to many directories, and other services offered by iTraders, can really boost a site's ranking and traffic.

 

Can we get the link so that we can see the ad placement..

Ad placement matters a lot

 

I did use directory submission services and I get traffic from Google too, but the site is brand new.
It's also listed in some big directories.

The problem I see is that your top right 468x60 banner to me is just invisible to me and your 768x90 banner after the first post is not above the fold. Try placing a 728x90 banner centered right after the menu box on the top of every page i think this will help.

 

That is actually something I was thinking about, so you mean I take out ads after the first post and the header and put a 728x90 banner centered after the menu?

 

Forum has lower ctr so yes it's normal

 

forums should have the adsense ads near to the submit or post buttons which will drive more attention

 

I would leave the one between the post but remove the one in the top corner. Try to keep it to two ad blocks. The highest paying ads will fill the top 728x90 banner which will catch the eye of most people.

 

ive never clicked an advertisement on a forum before...

Minor suggestion: For some spots, images make the difference. Just try it

 

i have seen your website you are using Vbulletein forum software you should place ads in Thread Index and After the posts........if you have vbadmanagement you enable threadbit and postbit ads..........and it will certainly generate sufficient clicks!

dont be frustrated, i have a news site, and i have 400-700 visitors per day, maximum day i got no money from this site.
