This site has alot of potential to earn, but you're not really using that "potential" to the fullest.

Firstly, you should replace the banner at the top with an adsense ad. You already have more than enough of those affiliate banners on the right side of your site.

You're only getting an average of $0.5 per day because you're only utilizing Google's link unit ads and not their actual banners / skyscraper ads.

You should replace the link unit at the top (under the header) with a square adsense ad. That should get a good CTR. Maybe have two of them if they can fit. Also put a skyscraper ad on one of the right sidebars.

Not sure if that helps, but I'm telling you now.. you should be making alot more from adsense. Also, if those affiliate banners aren't working for you or aren't making you any commissions, you should either get rid of them or replace them. Would probably be better to just get rid of them. The less ads on your site the better.

Good luck! You can do it. :)

I just recently redesigned the website so the affiliates are all new. I am yet to decide if they are worth it or not. I will try some of the tips you mentioned.

    Thanks.

Well after implementing the new ads my CTR has decreased even more. I am hovering <0.4%. Which seems a bit ridiculous.

I typed your site into the adwords keyword tool here:

    https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Then I looked at the list of keywords provided and how much people are spending on those keywords on Adwords. It's between $0.05 - $5 but the majority are around $1 - and you must take into account that these are the prices spent for Google search traffic, not content traffic, which is usually lower. This means that your avarage click will be around $.10 - $.20 and can sometimes go up until ~ $2.

The idea is that you need more traffic and better placement to get more clicks. Here's what I recommend:

Lose that link unit before the list of templates and put another Large Rectangle (336 x 280) in its place. It would be directly placed in front of your visitor's eyes, compared to the banner at the top that isn't placed in a hot spot. I would just sell that banner at the top here on DP for a monthly fee, you could probably get $25/ month for it and that alone would be more than your site makes now right? :)

Anyway, the thing to remember is that you really need to test different placement on a regular basis until you have found the most profitable arrangement, there's no fast way of determining that.

Change adverts. Use a plugin to display adverts in posts automaticly. Build up more traffic. These are the best ways you'll be able to earn more, at the moment I could only see 1 advert on the main page, you can use 3, so use 3 :)

This is just a bad niche cause not many webmasters care for the adsense ads. they are more concerned about getting free templates. just try another niche using ur same SEO technique and you should be good.

Yeah I figured it was a bad niche. I assumed there was a better way to monetize it however. (CPM ads, affiliates) but all seems to fail.
