    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

A bad example!

    I just discovered: http://windows2008.blogdns.com/

Look at that lovely top "nav bar", which happens to be legit links left hand side and right hand side with google ads in the middle!

Its the first time i have clicked on an adsense ad in years!

He uses a frame to do the trickery and it hides the "Ads by google" string

Clever! Although 110% breaks adsense TOS!

The link unit is in the middle of a table with restricted maximum width so that the "Ads by Google" string is beyond the displayed area of the table.

I wonder how long it will take for him to be banned - I'm pretty sure that people from Google are reading us.

I think it is our best interest that this type of blackhat user get banned (no offense to all the blackhats reading me) - we all have the choice of being blackhat and whitehat, and Google will tend to ban the whitehats more easily on a small violation because it will be freaked out by all the blackhats.
