Ive taken some advices and placed my ads accordingly.. well still im earning not even 0.05$ /day.. pls help n any advices will be valuable for me..

Also, think of an easier name- which would be easier to type out, doctorsblog.com or drshashikant.com? Hope that helps

it will make it look 1000% more professional.

 

domain will help more...but I still think for sports, there aren't many ads out there.....myself own a soccer blog, well the revenue from click isn't really high....

 

If you can get your sports blog really noticed, you can make a lot of ka-ching selling posts on your page

Its about content and adplacing, you can check out this blog http://labnol.blogspot.com its free domain and not much keywords in the URL.. still he makes $$$$$$ in adsense...

As said, poor adplacing on your blog and lots banners and other ads confuses the visitor.. make it easier for the visitor, just think about as yourself as a visitor of this blog and calculate the plus and minus..

 

hmm.. tht blog looks really professional... actually im not tht good in html editing.. so dnt knw to make some radical changes.. .
well i thght my banner adds to the ambience of my blog...

 

if we start from the top then

use one large banner sized unit as header; either remove the moving logo or the ad unit and you better get rid of your logo; believe me that's not looking good with two links at its bottom.

it would be better idea to have your labels list at top of your sidebar. and if you WANT to put ads on top then try to remove the space at top of sidebar.

inside your post you can enhance readability by using <p align='justify'> ... </p>

try to be consistent in one post like you are posting some images aligned center and some on left inside one post titled as 'unforgetable moments'

and at the end i would say to remove the junk of banners/ad units! these are not gonna give you anything!

last but not the least, if you are determined to keep it alive then one better option would be to use wordpress hosted at your own and get a domain name as well!

 

Thanks a lot ravianz .. i'l try to keep it simple.. .maybe remove the flash banner and keep a static banner... but i read somehwere tht ads below the header give good results..
and im not able to get rid of the space in tht sidebar above my ads... not tht good in html editing .. if u can help wud be great..

im quite a noob.. please help..

 

and also the placement of images.. im kinda having problem wid tht... not able to adjust it according to size of images.. ultimately it turns out very haphazardly..

 

no doubt its experienced by many that using images along with ads give good result but the way you have used flash banner that is simply distracting eyes from the place so it would be better to remove that.

inside post i mean when you are typing a post you have html code preview as well where you can edit your code; you can add the code i written in such a way that three dots replace the paragraph of your post. That is not a necessary thing to do. it was just my personal opinion!

As far as you free space at top of side bar is concerned, i would suggest you to once change your theme and see if it appears that way or not. I am sorry i have not been using blogspot for a long time so no idea how can you do it with new blogger keeping your current theme saved and reload after testing!

your placement looks good and i did not see any link units on your site.

i think you must add one

 

your problem with adsense could be also in ads targeting...

your adsense ads don´t seem to be optimized for your main topic, so people eager to read your posts will not be interested by those ads... Try to optimize not even the placement, but also keywords for these ads
