a flash game website - and how it works

    hey guys,

I've been thinking about creating a flash-game website. And yes I know there are thousands out there, but I have a different idea.
    But I was wondering...
All the flash game sites, they are hosting a lot of games. And did they ask permission to use these games on their websites?
I guess some games are free, and can be used anywhere. But, if you want to use some newer flash games, do you have to ask permission everytime? the games itself link back to the creator via logos, so is it really necessary to ask permission all the time? Of course they deserve the credit! but let's say that I use the game, and put a link back to their website. I guess that's good ennough right?

    please let me know,
    thank you

I think having to ask permission would vary from game to game and from site to site. Also, some flash game sites will want you to pay them money to host their games on your site.

I'd recommend reading through each games site and terms, and also contacting them directly.

thanks for your reply, you're right.
I read through the terms on some websites, and everyone has different terms.

    thanks
