    I dont know much about placements but I think ads without border blends better and increase ctr

    remove the borders and switch the colors of the title link and the url. that should make it better

    i suggest making the backgrounds just plain color without texture so that ads will be easier to blend...make the ads at the top horizontal and maybe add a banner on top of that...and your last column is aligned right if im not mistaken and it is kinda away from your whole layout...
