A member Bought my site at DP Auction but Now asking for Refund. What should I do?

Hi,
One of a member asked me for reserve price and bought my website.
He talked too many times for my website and asked so many things and finally he deposited the money in my bank account in India.
Now after ending the auction he is asking for refund the money without any reason i.e. "i'm not interested in this site or something like this.

What should I consider? and what should I do?

If the transaction was made (he got the website - domain and you got the money), then you do nothing. He most likely saw the website before you made the transaction. Also, if you accept to give him the money back, he will still have your database (articles, comments etc.)...so it is a loss for you.

 

Is there a statement of policy on returns? I doubt it so in buying sites the parlance that rule is 'no exchange-no return' policy or when buying a car it is always said 'as-is-where-is' which is tantamount to the former. I agree with the other members. The buyer already had a deep look of your website before he decided to buy. It means that everything is good to him or her before he made the transaction. I think it is not appropriate to ask for a refund.

 

I agree with r3ticul as the buyer might have got the datebase so he can use it further. IF the the transaction was made successfully means the site was transferred as committed then there must be no refund policy but on your part if you think there is something missing like what you committed and you were not able to deliver then communicate with buyer and provide him what was committed or else there is no need for refund.

 

I agree with this point because buyer must have seen the website before buying and there is no point in returning the money.
