A small problem with my computer, any idea?

    Hi

    Problem: It seems that a program or something is doing something on my computer, Every 4/5 seconds this sand hour glass appears at the mouse curser.

    Possible cause that I have already noticed: There is a drive on "my computer" window naming "Virtual CD DVD drive", the icon for this drive changes every 4/5 seconds as well.

    So I guess this activity on my computer has something to do with this virtual drive but I don't know which program has installed it and how I unistall it.

    Any Idea?

    Check your running processes...see if there's anything funny. Check your PC for spyware and do a full virus check...also go to stopsign.com in case your antivirus is already corrupted.

    try to install and run avg and adaware. then add a zone alarm for security.

    Nero creates a virtual CD drive, if you've installed the Image Drive.

    Anyways, scan your computer with your antivirus and spyware detector(I use AVG and ZoneAlarm).
