I'm making a new website. What's the best/cheapest hosting provider out there? Should I use free Wordpress? (I heard they can't accept adsense.

I like their system and it is so easy to update pages. Are there better ways to make a good website (30+ pages?).

You can add adsense to wordpress blogs. its probably the easiest way to make a site if you are inexperienced.

If you are looking for a cheap host you should you with godaddy($3.99) . There are some other cheaper hosts but they are not as reliable.

From your other post, I'm assuming you're wanting to create some MFA sites for certain keywords.

I would highly suggest you pony up the hosting fees for a reputable hosting company, since it never takes long for your AdSense to cover your hosting fees.

Thanks, Art. Actually this is going to be more than a MFA site. I really think I have the knowledge and motivation to make this an excellet content site. It just happens that the topic is a niche that is seems to be highly searched in way that should benefit me. I've always wanted to make the site, but the possibility of making some money with adwords makes me want to pull the trigger and do it.

What would recommend as a reputable hosting company?

3ix.org has been an awesome one for me. It's cheaper than godaddy!

I'll second that and I have three accounts with 3ix. They do have their down times but respond quick enough to support tickets - if you cant get the support calling their sales line usually helps.

I agree, edatarack is the cheapest I've found but they are not reliable. Can't contact them, etc. but I keep a reseller account with them as a backup. Hey, It really is cheap. I moved my forums because they crash and your backups are never good. If you are backing up on your own comuter edatarack can be very affordable. I have my main sites on a godady virtual server. No problems except I keep getting hacked by spammers. I think there may be a mole in godaddy giving out info. Everytime I change passwords, they break back into my email and send spam within 2 days. I finally disabled the email. And reported it to godaddy, problem finally solved.

Thats because the basic godaddy hosting plans dont allow external databases so you cant install anything that requires a DB.

I use Hostgator and Dreamhost...generally I stay away from cheapest when it comes to hosting.

For putting Adsense on Wordpress, google a plugin called "Adsense Deluxe" it is excellent because it allows you to drop the code anywhere into individual posts. People are less likely to ignore you ads if they are in a different location on every post.
