I think it's fine to ask questions about the sale in the thread.
I don't think it hurt your listing at all. It wouldn't deter me if I was interested.

There's a buy/sell/trade forum? When did we get that?

Seriously, I know little about PR, but I know that different datacenters, toolbars, and websites sometimes show a different PR. I've seen it in threads where people say "hey I'm showing this as a PR X and you said it was a PR Y". What normally happens is that several people say they see it as PR Y and there's no harm done.

This happens a lot. I doubt it is ever an 'attack' on the seller.

I think the problem is using PR as a main factor when determining the value of an advertisement.

I want to say that obenix is not a bad person. I think he didn't mean any harm by what he said... just trying to find the facts and state what he saw.

It's good for the original poster to get his feelings out in the open and talk about this... as it probably bugged him for a few days. BUT he needs to understand that this is one of those forums that encourages open talk and if he doesn't want his site talked about then maybe he shouldn't post about it.

I also think that some people use it as the only factor.

I agree with everyone that it is fine to ask questions. I just wish people would PM me first so that I don't end up looking bad and a big debate doesn't start.

To be honest: both you and Obenix deserved each others on that one :p
May I add a quote from WRMineo:

No big deal Tesla. As everyone says, your buyer is entitled to inspect what he's trying to buy. That's all.

I do not think you'd lose your sale just because of obenix.
It was hardly an attack or badmouthing. It was a question.

    I'm with obenix.

p/s I think people remember that you was once dressed in red around DP
