Accepting credit cards for multiple currency

Hello All - Does anyone know of a good credit card company/Merchant that can handle multiple currencies for a webiste that ships from USA to USA & Internationally. These are health products & pheromone colognes. The buyer for my site lives in the UK and needs to find a reputable company to handle this.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Blessings to All

If the business itself is based in the UK you should look for a 3rd party processor, an offshore merchant account, or go to a local bank.

Most any merchant account is able to take multiple currencies, but you may have a FOREX charge for each transaction when Visa or MasterCard convert the transaction back to your currency.

If the transactions are all taken electronically, i would recommend integrating a conversion module so that a visitor can see the price in their currency.

Thank you for your response. What 3rd Party Processors would you recommend. PayPal is not an option, as they consider one of the homeopathic products to be not allowed and the pheromone colognes too.

Any other suggestions? Also, you mention an offshore merchant account, any ideas for that as well? Thank you for your help!

    Many Blessings

    hi
if the buyer has no accounting / account presence in the US -
normal UK business account plus foreign currency account e.g. USD

Worldpay 3rd party processor plus added currency option e.g. USD

This wau USD can be taken and remains in USD for the whole circle.

Thus currency is only exchanged when needed or favorable.

WP is well accepted but expensive (can be negotiated though)

You could try 2checkout. I'm not sure if they allow those products or not.

We also have a offshore partner, if you want to check them out. They can give you all the information about getting setup with an offshore processor. Offshore services can be expensive so it may not be the best solution for you right now.
