Even my site is well-linked and daily visitor number is between 400-500, daily revenue is lower than $1.

I think i should place ads better. Can you tell me how to place them?

    site is about programing languages:

I can see the site but all the ads are "off page" on the right hand side meaning I would need to scroll right just to see them.

The right hand column is (allegedly) the worst place to put ads anyway and this must be compounded by the fact that they are effectivley hidden.

Basic design methods come in here:

    1. view all your pages in low resolutions 800x600, yes people do still use this one, about 10% of visitors for me.
    2. View in Firefox and IE for basic crosss-browser compatibility.

McWarren - why do you seem so surprised by the 800x600 res. It is still the most commonly used setting although I can only speak for the UK
