Ad placement & design violating Google's TOS?

    Hey,

I've been testing and reading a lot about adsense for some time now and my next test is to render my page on the left side fitting the famous golden triangle, this is my first ever test for the golden triangle and I can't wait to see the results.

Though I've added a link ad on the top and made it look like a navigation as you can see on the preview (click for full size), I know images near ads is legit if you have enough space between them or a border, I did both just to make sure I won't violate the TOS.

Can't post images and links yet so a full url to the preview.

So my question is if the link ad is violating the TOS.

I can't give you a difinitive answer... it's really up to the discretion of the AdSense team. For me, AdSense revenue is too important to take any chances at being banned for a violation. If you think it's "iffy" you really should change the design. Low income is better than no income.

Yeah that's true, but I need to know for sure if this is legit or not =), this will change my income enormously! It's just the design, it's not live or anything so I can take my time with it to figure out if it's possible.

I'll mail google about this subject and post the result here.

    Thanks anyways.

And there you have it! =) I'm getting rid off the images near all my ads and the tabs, hope this helps out some people that want to implement the same idea.
