    The ad placement is not your problem. The problem is, you need a lot of traffic to this type of site so that you can earn a decent income from adsense. The ads in this niche don't pay very much per click so you need to do some massive promotion to get anywhere.

    Well, you can use the Google keyword tool to see what people pay for keywords in any niche. The niches that pay most per click are usually financial-related, travel, health, web hosting, insurance, make money online etc

    Use the Google keyword tool an you'll be able to see what people pay for any keyword for top Adwords placement.
