Ad placement & maximum pageviews

    My site is http://www.consultantjournal.com.

    I've had Adsense for about a year. I'm doing okay (IMHO), but hoping to increase my results.

    My challenge is that I'd like to have some visitors review several pages of my site (and become regular visitors or purchase my products) and I'd also like to increase my Adsense CTR. I'm currently averaging around 3.5 pageviews per visitor. I do not promote my products on main pages of my site, as I'm trying to build a relationship through the blog.

    I'm familiar with eyetracking and the official Adsense placement suggestions, but I seem to have conflicting goals. As a result, I'm not sure how to best place my ads. Thanks for your help.

    First, try moving your ad link unit below:

    * Home
    * Consultant Blog
    * About Us
    * Contact

    (the links on your green bar) right now on FF the ad links are overlapping your other adsense ads on the left..

    lol yeah, you should try to put adsense on upper place. Ctr will be good, if you know adsense placement position.

    If you keep the ads on left side or any side please make your articles bit longer

    Hmm. I previously had ads along the top, just under the menu. But the CTR was much lower. Perhaps I should have used the leaderboard instead of textlinks?
