So, I've been using the current ad placement for about a month now and am looking for suggestion to increase clicks.

    website: www.newsnotion.com

Ads are under each post and there is a link unit in the left sidebar.

There is a lot of room for improvements here ;)
Put your banners around the content (on the left side of every article).
    Use the same background.

Also don't forget to place a link unit under the header.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

As you can see I have tried the link unit under the header, while it is a good idea the link unit only fits if its a vertical unit, and that looks bad.

I will try to implement adsense into each of my posts.

    Any other suggestions?

your ads are breaking the layout is not fluid anymore cause the backgorund of your ads are white and beside it is gray...its a little obvious...

and those ads are not good...try using banners and keep the layout fluid for blending...

    :D

Yeah I know. It's hard because the space in the center is really small so it makes it difficult to get it perfect.

I am thinking about switching themes soon anyways to something easier to work with.

For the units in your content area (the block ones) I would make the background match the background it's behind, also "wrap" the content area the ad (so move it to the right and around).

placement looks good but i think you must use grey background for your ads between your blog posts
