    I have built several sites, each with approximately 200 pages both sites being developed primarily for adsense revenue. I am getting mixed feedback regarding the placement of adsense ads on the home page, has anyone tested this to see if it is best to keep them off the home page or not?.

    Secondly what is the maximum number of links you recommend on the site map?.

    Why not? As the homepage is usually the landing page which receives larger amount of impressions, there should be more clicks associated.
