    Hi,

i have recently placed several adsense advertisements across my forum. They appear on the front page (top and bottom), Forums (top and bottom) and topics (top and bottom). There may look like a lot but if you register all advertisements are hidden. They are only show to guests. Thanks

well I would really advice you have a 160 X 600 ad type in your side bar well maybe half way trough your page.. It sure will give you better exposure and fits to your site..

    Hi,

is that what you mean. I have had 70 impressions but not one person has clicked on an ad (not since i put the 120x600 in). What is wrong with them?

Your site looks good and the ads seem to be nicely relevant to the topic of the site. However, tech people are notorius for not clicking on ads, especially on forum sites.

Furthermore, the site is very busy with lots to draw visitor attention away from ads. Not that it should be less busy because it's all good and necessary -- but just an explanation for the low CTR.

Sometimes it's necessary to make the decision between creating a site that is great for its visitors or great for making money. Some sites just can't be both at the same time. Sorry.

This may help. The gaming forum in my sig gets on average 1 click per 1000 page impressions. So its going to take a lot of impressions to make any kind of money on a forum.
