    Are you an Adsense Newbie?

I'm sure your thinking, find the highest paying keywords and you'll be rich overnight, you could not be wronger.

I will admit, when I first started out on my journey to make a living with Google Adsense, i thought exactly the same thing, if i build sites around the highest paying keywords, i will sure be rich overnight.

I had heard that some words were paying $40 per click, how wrong was i. $40 per click is just ridiculous, can you imagine if that was right, that would mean that some of the best Internet marketers would be making an absolute fortune, $40 per click is just a way of them selling you a product.

If you saw an advert that said, "you can make $40 per click, and i will show you how you can do this every single day" would you buy this for $24.99, or Even $49.99, some people were selling this garbage a few years ago, but now most people know that this is just a scam.

The simple truth is, if you can make between 8 cents and 12 cents per click from your website or blog, your doing pretty well. Some times, my blogs make above 95 cents per click, but that's on a good day, and that's a travel blog that i have been running for over 1 year. If you are looking to find some great paying keywords, try looking for lower paying words that generate more traffic, this is the key to earning more with adsense.

For instance, Mesothelioma, a type of Cancer is one of the highest paying keywords for Ad-words and Adsense, the thing is, most people have never even heard of it.

Now, try DVD or Digital DVD and nearly every single person you know, will have heard of these products. DVD and Digital DVDs are middle of the road payer's, and you have more of a chance of someone clicking on that ad, for obvious reason's.

So the obvious answer to making a living from adsense, build sites around theme's and products you know, don't build sites on high paying keywords you know nothing about, don't just build one website or blog, build several.

If I were averaging $.12 per click, I would forget adsense forever.

I will agree that you shouldn't start sites around something you know nothing about, but on the other hand, doing content research is pretty simple, so it's not hard to pick a niche first and research your content after.
