    Hi guys,

    I'm planning on building my second website, and thought of a directory site. It will possibly be Joomla and MosTreee powered, with adsense placed in all pages. How are the directory sites doing for you guys? Good niche?

    BTW, I have the possibility of building the site in portuguese or english... what do you think? Are there too many english directory sites already? Would I be more successful building a portuguese one?

    The CTR on my directory site is less than one twentieth the CTR on my "average" web site.

    That seems to be how life is, huh? I mean...directory sites are super easy to maintain, while average sites take more effort. The ones that take less effort end up paying less. Why can't it be the other way around.

    I think I'll drop the directory site then :)

    I was having some pretty neat ideas and thought it could work out, but it seems to be a very low-paying niche.
