    I recently had my adsense website redone by a designer who placed a link to his design site at the bottom of my navigation menu. I didn't mind initially but now I see that that one link, to my surprise, is influencing the kind of ads adsense is returning on my site. I'm getting ads for web design on my site which is basically a site about comedy tv.

    Is there a reason why adsense would favor web design ads on a site that is primarily about comedy and has way more comedy content than web design content? Does adsense automatically favor higher paying ads when it detects the slightest content that may bring them up?

    In any event, I'm relutant to remove the web designers link because 1.) I kind of promised I would leave it (though I think he'd understand if I didn't) and 2.) maybe the web design ads, though they are irrelevant, would pay more than the comedy targeted ads.

    What does everyone think about this?

    okay, i think i figure out why my site was doing this. it hadn't gotten enough page loads to return relevant ads. now it seem to be doing so.
