Adsense near the picture, does my placement against the rule?

I read on google adsense blog that placing adsense near the picture and misleading people to click the ads is not allowed.

and I place the adsense in my Under Construction site in this way:

I think it's ok cause I have place a full border around my ads,

and I need your opinion, thanks.

 

that should be fine. I was thinking of doing the same. as long as there's a border around the pics or a dividing border between the pics and the ad block, it's cool.

 

I think they'd be acting a little unfairly if they said your placement broke the ToS. The ads are clearly demarcated and cannot be construed as being related to the pictures in any way, at least not to me. But, as in all matters of this nature, you should get the approval of the AdSense team if in doubt.

 

I agree... It's much easier to email Google than it is to ask these questions on forums with people that may not know how Google will reply.

Google is a sneaky devil, and most of us have very little knowledge of how they work. Heck, even the big guys have no idea how they work... unless your last name is Cutts
