Adsense number of ads in page question

I am currently using 3 ads per page.

    Top (before post) - 2.42% CTR - 336*250 size
    Middle (inbetween my post) - 0.44% CTR - 468*120
Bottom (after the post) - 0.42% CTR - 336 size

Now I was wondering if it would be better to have those low CTR's display or remove them completely from the page.

Does removing those 2 ads increase the eCPM of my page ? The site in question is TechiePortal.

Also plz post any tips if you find to improve the CTR/revenue from adsense.

Hi. I have tried many times over the months to check if their is a change in eCPM if you use 2 ad blocks as opposed to 3. From what I have seen, it does not make a difference to eCPM although other webmasters claim that they have higher earnings with 2 blocks.

What I would recommend that you try though is putting a 468x15 link ad before you related posts. Give it a try. It performed better for me that the link ads on the sidebar.

thanks for that idea I will definately try it out. Seems to me that links do payout better than that bid ad at the bottom
