I'm thinking to start a new classified ads's site.

Does makes sense to plug adsense on this kind of sites.

Does it convert well? or just think only on pay per ad scheme?

    Any advice

I have adsense running on my classifieds site and it is doing pretty good.

I have found that tweaking the ad placement and colour from time to time works well. Classifieds usually have a strong repeat visitor count just like forums so your visitors will become banner blind after a while so you have to keep things fresh.

The search does ok. Most revenue comes from the adlinks on the top. From time to time I take down the Apple banner and replace it with an Adsense banner.

    What script do you run?
Site looks cool! Only thing is metatags and URL are not friendly. I guess
getting ads titles on url will convert better (?)

So far, I liked gonnafish.com because translates easy...my site wil be in spanish.

    Thanks for sharing
