just wait a day and see if you get more relevant ads. If you just signed up, google may need some time to crawl your blog.

Don't do it!!! Free webhosts have ads.

Give it time and soon releveant ads will show up.

Don't try free hosting I repeat!

Check your Blog "title". I had one that was called Blogging for Financial Advisers and it showed all ads about Blogs. I chnaged the title to Financial Advisers and Blogging and now I get all relevant ads.

The easiest way to get relevant ads is to write posts with ad keywords. I'm not talking about keyword stuffing or anything, but ie. if you want ads that relate to stocks, just make sure to use the word stock in your post(s) 2 or 3 times. This method has worked best for me. Once your ads become targetted, they will stay that way unless your content greatly changes.

Blogger is not a long term solution... start looking for a domain

I disagree. Blogger can be used to host a respectable blog. It all depends on the dedication and effort of the blog owner.

The way I see it is like this..... If I had a million dollars to build my a dream house I probably wouldn't do it on property that had a monthly rental contract. I would want to either buy my own property or else get a 99 year lease on the property that I'm going to build.

To me, blogger.com reminds me of the days of geocities and such related sites. Although somebody might put in enough time and effor to make it look nice, there's still that little quirk in the back of the time of why didn't the site owner just spend $20 and get their own domain.

Lately blogger.com has really stepped up. The templates are professional and I've seen some really great pages on there. :)

plus you can host your blogger blog on your domain anyways... i found this to be a nice "middle-ground" solution..

Good idea natsirtm, I think combining blogger.com and your own domain is the perfect solution for many people, you can still use the simplicity of blogger, but have the long term solution of a domain.

    Cheers
