Adsense on my guestbook

So I have this ViPER guestbook.

I would like to run adsense on it because it has some very nice comments that add tips and suggestions related to my site's content, and therefore becomes another way to show up in SERPS.

I modified the skin to include adsense, but unfortunately that same adsense-bearing skin shows up for the "post" and "search" pages, too.

I am concerned that this will run afoul of the TOS prohibiting use on non-content pages.

I am right to be concerned?
Is there a way to modify the skin so that adsense only shows up on the actual guestbook, and not the other incidental pages?
Has anybody made these mods and can point this n00b to a way to do it?

For now, I have switched to an Amazon banner.

on the comments page it should be allowed :) On the other pages you could remove it with a if statement if your cms supports it
