I put an adsense button on my wordpress music blog but the ads coming up are for Apple ILife 06. Is it hard to get target ads on a blog or what? Any info on this subject would be great! thanks!

I've noticed the same on the main page of my blog. I tried messing with meta tags and such but it didn't make a difference.

Rouier, I'm not 100% certain but I think there are some words on your page that might be considered negative keywords ...

    https://www.google.com/adsense/policies

    # Sales or promotion of certain weapons, such as firearms, ammunition, balisongs, butterfly knives, and brass knuckles

    # Any other content that promotes illegal activity or infringes on the legal rights of others

Even if you say "it's illegal, don't do it at home," I don't know if the google bot is going to understand that... it operates mostly on keywords, so if an advertiser or google has certain terms in their filters because of the policy, then you might have trouble getting relevant ads.

You might want to check with google to make sure your content is within their policy guidelines..

I personally don't like ads on blogs, BUT check with Google.
