AdSense placement doubt

    Hi all,

    As most of us know, AdSense placement literally determines our AdSense returns.

    Key points are the ads have to be on first fold (see 'em without scrolling down), merge with texts, ads url/text color must be right, no border etc.

    BUT, surprisingly, for my case, my best earning AdSense sites are those which I've deliberately tried outside the "norm" of "good" practice ie. striking ad url color (like telling "this is an ad"), border (alongside affiliate banners), below the fold etc.

    It seems that there is no actual right or wrong with ad placement?
