    Hello again guys, could I request some constructive criticism for my freeware site which is getting busier but doesn't seem to be pulling in a great deal of clicks or revenue. Recently I noticed a significant drop in eCPM so messed around with the ads in different places but I'm still not seeing much improvement at all!!. Would love some fresh suggestions as to where I can put my ads without being "over the top". All advice appreciated.

    I think the ads placements are fine. I can see one text ad unit, 1 image ads and 1 link unit all concentrated at the middle which should be getting the attention of visitors. Btw, what's the ctr that currently you are getting and what do you expect to achieve?

    lycos, thanks for the reply - I assume your referring specifically to my home page which may not actually be the problem as most of my traffic comes from search engines and referrers usually hit my download pages rather than the home page therefore it's possible there are issue's there maybe?. As for my CTR, last months average was 2.18% and so far this month it's averaging at 2.57% and ideally I guess my aim is to optimize things to achieve the best CTR for my site but I've read that much on adsense and optimization its almost as if everyone seeks to achieve the best but no-one knows the truth!!!
