Adsense placement, hows this?

I'm very new to this, and I'm looking for some pointers on adsense placement. They are currently in this position (its the same throughout the website)

    www.exotic-pets.eu

I want to get the most out of them without the user getting bugged by the damn things. I want to make any major changes while the website is relatively small (at 65ish pages, its about 15-20% finished).

    So, whaddya think? :)

    my thoughts

    - the right ad blindness (user don't see them anymore) so you might make your border white.
    - amazon on the bottom is a waste, you could it instead of your right Exotic-pets.eu you already have your logo on the left.

    just my $0.02

Ok, nice website, because I like green color.
On the left, this is the adsense block where the best paying ads will be located (the first to come in your HTML source)
so make it a 160x600 not a 120x240 and make the title green and the rest black. This is so that the title (underlined) look like links in your site.

Also, the adlink is well placed I guess.

For the adsense on the right, why not make it a 160x600 as well and make it look like the one on the left. This will be your second, you can have three. If you want to use your third adsense block, put it at the end of the central column and make it a 336x280 block, with the same look as the 2 blocks on the sides.

Good luck and why don't you ad a google search box locked on your domain name on the top right corner, just above your adlink so you can earn money when people search on your site with google?

Hows that? :) I've taken some of your ideas (from both of you) and made some changes.

    - amazon on the bottom is a waste, you could it instead of your right Exotic-pets.eu you already have your logo on the left.

What do you mean by that? Replace the amazon banner with a banner of my own?

Only change I see is you've made the left block a 160x600 one and just changed the border of the right block to white (but didn't change it to a 160x600 and didn't put black to the url)
You didn't added a 336x280 block at the end of the central column although it is know to be a good performer.
Soyou still have some work to do.

What I think he meant was that having the amazon at the bottom is wasting it, you could put it at the top, the exact location i on the right corner since you already have a logo on the left.

If you make your content in the middle flexible, people like me, with an 800x600 screen resolution could see the ads on the right.
Looks nice. Welcome is weLcome, you've got Wecome.

Thanks for noticing the spelling error, its been rectified now :)

I've made the adblock on the left 160x600, and made the underlined text the same colour as my link. I've also removed the border on the right adblock, and changed the colour to match my links. I did briefly add the search box, but it messed the layout of my page a bit too much. The page is in my opinion already looking really ad heavy, so I don't want to remove the amazon banner up (I'm not sure why its at the bottom really, I added it to a div include when I started my build as the novelty of having banners was there and have'nt really removed it yet. I'll get removed when/if I get paying advertisers on there). I like the idea of the large adbox and I will think about adding it to certain pages (it wouldn't fit in some of them I don't think).

Cheers for the tips folks, any more would be greatly apreciated :)
