Looks good, But Im no expert but I heard forums usually dont produce much clicks. I think it depends on the ads coming up, they really have to catch someones eye to draw them away from a site they like. And it looks like they like your site.
    Congrats

    Hi adsensesyndicate,

I had a quick look at your site, and it looks great and very active.

But I think your ctr will never change because whilst snooping around, I came across this thread http://forums.keeptouch.net/showthread.php?t=77746
Which suggests to me that although your visitors think you have a valueable resource, they aren't interested in the ads!

yea.. it's funny and i cant remove the thread as it's "offending" to the moderators.. so i'll just let it be there as many are not really much technical savvy and the thread hype is going down anyway...

Man, that annoys me. The ads aren't even that obtrusive. Whatever happened to supporting the Webmaster? Someone is responsible for building, maintaining, and paying for all the expenses related to this site. Nice way to say thanks, by bitching about some text ads.

Good luck with your efforts. Forums have notoriously low CTR. Perhaps you should investigate some alternative methods of monetization. Targetted affiliate sales, sponsor links, subscription memberships that provide additional features and eliminate ads, etc.

Show the ads to guests only and check the response ;)
Putting the link ads between posts instead of in the post itself might also help a bit.
    Just my $0.02

Well, as a webmaster you should go into that thread and makes it CLEAR that if the ads aren't there, they won't be having any forum too. Because someone has to pay for the costs.

It's people like those who let others think that the internet is free.

Sheesh, you're the webmaster there. Keep your members in tone.
