    Hey there,

This is my first time using adsense so I thought I would ask the professionals what they think of my ad positions and blending.

    My website is http://www.green-watch.org.

For anybody who gives me a serious review, I will also review their website if you provide me with a link.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

    Sincerely,
    Travis Walters

The only Adsense ads I saw were a leaderboard in the footer. I don't think that placement is going to bring in much revenue. Many of your visitors will not scroll down to the bottom of the pages, so they will never even see the Adsense ads. If you want to make some money with Adsense, you really should have at least some ads above the fold (viewable without scrolling down).

    Hey there,

Here are some of my ad placements:

    1. I added the main footer ad placements as you have seen.

    2. I added an image ad in the middle of search results, if there are at least 10 results on a page. Otherwise, the ad doesnt display. For example:

    Find Green Businesses
    Find Green Products

These two pages have the image ad between the 5th and 6th search result.

    3. On some pages, I have side ads. For example:

    Site Search

There should be one that shows up right under search amazon.

In general, there is not much space for ads on my site. Please advise me how to strategically place ads higher up when there is no space? Can somebody give me a good example? Thanks in advance!

    Sincerely,
    Travis Walters

I can see only one ad in the footer. My opinion is:

    1. On the homepage you can put a small block text ads where is "Latest Green News" or "Latest Green Businesses"

    2. One the other pages People, Events, Products itc you can put on the left side below the "Green People Search" form

    3. And maybe left of the search form some Link units

    Hey there,

    Thanks for your response.

By link units do you mean like DP has below the first post:

Ads by Google | Pay Per Click Affiliate | Seo Marketing | Free Advertising | Overture ADS

When logged in, a logout box displays to the left of the search box. However, when logged out, I could have some links like that display to the left. That is a great idea. I'll give you some props for that one.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I am only allowed three google ad sections per page correct? So I would have the left of the menu, the footer, and possibly something along the sides on some pages.

Thanks once again for any more advice or suggestions.

    Sincerely,
    Travis Walters

    Hey there,

It looks like google doesnt have any ad styles to along 3 ads in a single row. They only have 4 or 5.

I am not sure how to fit that ad unit to the left of the search box now.

    Any ideas?

    Sincerely,
    Travis Walters

In my opinion, you should put a big square ads on the top of content.

    Hey there,

That section of the website is going through some remodeling before it is released on March 1st. That is why you encountered a blank page. There is also going to be a plans section so people can clearly see the differences between premium businesses and standard businesses.

Square ads on the top I think would look unprofessional. However, I think some text ads to the right of the breadcrumbs section might look nice on some pages, depending how much space there is between the breadcrumb and ads section. I really wish google would show three text ads instead of four.

    Sincerely,
    Travis Walters
