It should be fine. The drop down menus here at dp cover the adsense when you click on them. I find that most drop down menus are not annoying but better because they save space and are convenient.

hai, you mean displaying adsense ads when a user clicks the drop down menu?

NOPE.. this is against their Terms of Service. you must put it along with your webpage..God

i find them annoying if they have sub menus.
i wouldn't put them under a drop down menu.
i think one reason people get banned is them placing ads where people click on them by mistake.

in my opinion, if it get front of adsense ads, you may get problem. you are not allowed to prevent users to see adsense ads

adsense ads should be seen all the time, so ads under drop-down menus aren't quite ok.

And, worse, may lead to inadvertent clicks which will find you on the dark side of the TOS.
