    I just purchased an aged domain that I want to use for several sub-niches. I have seen other webmasters configure their sites keyword.domain.com.
    Questions:

    1) what is the seo benefit of this configuration?
    2) Would it be better or same to configure domain.com/keyword/?
    3) Any thoughts on seo strategy for configuring sub-niches off main domain?
