Well it's the first of December and only 25 days till Christmas.

Just thought I'd start a fun poll to see how many people have advent calenders :)

Need a few more options there, as we have a cloth one (containing chocs) and a paper one (also containing chocs). This is the only time of year when my seven old is first up :)

I'm staying with my parents at the moment and my Mummy got me 1. I wouldn't have 1 otherwise :)

It's good because it prepares my stomache for the amount of sweets I'll be eating over the Christmas period. ;)

Chocolate advent calendar... now I'm feeling deprived. Never heard of one before; I grew up with a cloth one and now have a cloth one.

my favorite part of christmas as a kid was my advent calendar. My mom had one for my brother and I each year (she knitted it) and hung chocolates on it for each day in december. I loved that thing. She still has it; I want to hang it up in my house now that I have one, but she's out of the country this year :(

It's sad when times change. I'm spending this Christmas with my fiancee and her parents because my parents are gallevanting off to Tenerife. I couldn't afford the flight or the time to go with them. Never spent a Christmas without my parents before so it will be strange.

    lol

I haven't even eaten any of mine yet. My Aunt stayed the other night and slept in my bed while I got the couch so she left me a box of quality street. Haven't really had the desire for any advent chocolate. ;)

Don't you just hate that feeling after you've had your Christmas dinner and you're totally stuffed and can't move. lol

The older I get the guiltier I feel about the amount which we eat at Christmas. I can't help but think about people who don't have anything to eat at Christmas and there's probably piles of food getting wasted. It's a crazy world we live in.
